Wondery — Clothes Made for Women Who Love Outdoor Adventure
Wondery creates inclusive products for women by women
I recently became aware of the clothing and apparel company Wondery, and am so impressed with their mission and products. Wondery offers outdoor clothing made exclusively for women, by women, and is size inclusive, with sizes ranging from XS to XXXL. Every purchase supports their mission to empower women in the outdoors. Their goal is to represent all woman-identifying and non-binary individuals in their products, marketing, branding, advertising, and internally within their company. They also provide BIPOC and LGBTQ+ events for those who want to connect to an outdoor community.
Wondery’s mission is to expand women’s experiences and knowledge in the outdoors, as well as to encourage long-lasting friendships through their community-driven events and workshops, that are largely discounted or free. The company collaborates on products and events, and fundraises with other nonprofits and brands who have a shared vision of equality outdoors.
Here are my opinions on just a few of their products that I got to try:
Golden Soul Flannel — Dusty Rose: $100
The oversized Golden Soul Flannel features Wondery’s original “Golden Soul” design on the back, has a point collar, tortoise shell buttons, and two roomy chest pockets. It is made of 60% wool and 40% polyester. I love the colors and design — and it’s nice and warm! It can be a tad bit scratchy if you’re skin is sensative.
Isabel 2.0 Outdoor Pants: $96
The Isabel 2.0 Outdoor Pants combines comfortable functionality with a stylish jogger silhouette. Version 2.0 has an improved cotton and spandex blend that allows for more flexibility while maintaining durability against abrasions. The cinched high waist and hems make the fit uniquely tailored, but relaxed. Improved, stronger graded webbing provides an adjustable fit that allows for better, more precise waist adjustments with its vibrant complementary pop of color. A black matte metal buckle replaces the plastics of the 1.0’s for improved fastening. There is also abundant storage with roomy front pockets, back pockets, and two side pockets. The pants also feature elastic cuffing at ankles. The pants are made of 97% cotton and 3% spandex. These pants are comfortable, sturdy and stylish.
Janelle Shorts — Sage: $57
The Janelle Shorts are made of unique 80/20 Wondery quick-dry nylon lycra blend with roomy front pockets and an adjustable drawstring tie. They have a seamless flat banding on the front with bottom mesh hemming that provides maximum ventilation and breathability. The shorts are made of 80% nylon and 20% lycra. I’m typically not a shorts person, but these are soft, comfortable and fit well.
Adventurer Crewneck — Green: $70
The relaxed-fit Adventurer Crewneck features embroidery and is made of 60% cotton and 40% polyester. It’s cute and comfortable, and makes a statement. I love this sweatshirt! Yes, I am an adventurer and proud to say so. This is a staple for my outdoor wardrobe.
The Official Parks Beanie: $35
Stay warm with the Official Parks Beanie, in a variety of earth tones, with a loose waffle knit for breathability. The 10” uncured vegetable tanned leather patch is engraved with “The Parks” along the National Park Service founding date of 1916. It is made of 100% hypoallergenic acrylic. Who doesn’t love a good beanie? Love the leather detail.
Mountain Lovin’ Enamel Camp Mug: $20
This sturdy, lightweight Mountain Lovin’ Enamel Camp Mug is hand crafted by a renowned European enamelware manufacturer. The mug is made using a unique, age-old technique to ensure a smooth, long-lasting finish, then double-dipped with a second coat of enamel to reinforce the rim and handle. It is campfire safe, oven safe, and dishwasher safe, but cannot be used in the microwave. This mug says it all. I love the mountains. This is a great camping mug, but even using it at home make me remember all of my fond mountain memories.
Flowers of America Playing Cards & Conversations: $14
This deck of cards features artistic graphics of America’s flowers, as well as conversation starters. I love that you can play cards with these — or use them as talking points.
Cozy Cabin Cashmere Socks — Wheat: $16
These comfy socks, made of 7% cashmere, 11% polyester, 68% acrylic, and 11 % nylon, will keep your toes toasty. They are also breathable, quick dry, and sweat absorbent. These socks are warm and cute.
Parks of the USA Bucket List Water bottle: $58
This 32-ounce, double-walled, vacuum-insulated water bottle will inspire you to check US Parks off your bucket list. It features a leak-proof straw lid and is made of stainless steel with a white matte powder coat finish. It is dishwasher safe and will keep your cold drinks cold for 24 hours and your hot drinks hot for 12 hours. The bottle is engraved with 63 park logos and comes with colored stickers that can be placed on the bottle to designate which parks you’ve visited. It is dishwasher safe, even the stickers won’t fade. I’m obsessed with this water bottle! Even though I have more reusable bottles than I need, whenever I drink out of this one, it makes me want to plan my next US Parks trip…and makes me realize how many I have yet to visit.
