Leave the kids home for OPIUM at the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas

OPIUM at The Cosmopolitan is like no other show in Las Vegas. If you’re looking for a fun and entertaining parent’s night out, OPIUM will have you laughing and gawking at the sexual overtones, talented entertainers, and comedic storyline. Guests are along for the ride on the OPM 73 spaceship for some far out fun with a lewd crew. From the “captain” and “flight attendant” to the nerdy “boyscout” — the cast was comical and had me laughing throughout the show.

Interspersed between the crew skits at Opium at the Cosmopolitan are some impressive acts, including a bubble blower (square bubbles!), ring tossers, aerialist (hanging by her hair!), balancing act, and my favorite — a crude act with bananas that will have you laughing and gagging at the same time — you won’t see this act in Cirque du Soleil!

If you eat at the adjacent Superfrico restaurant (amazing Italian American cuisine), you’ll see the acts cruising through while you dine. The cast at Opium at the Cosmopolitan is talented, the costumes and set are creative, and the vibe is a lot of fun. I highly recommend it for a fun adults night out.
