Guests can choose to stay at the newly constructed Sweetgrass Inn and or in a Private Villa. The Inn is located with direct access to the facilities. Each room is a haven of peace, with plush bedding, modern amenities, and serene views that invite relaxation. Throughout the Inn, you’ll find baskets that highlight the Indigenous Gullah heritage. Guest rooms accommodate up to two guests. Facilities offer a community lounge, laundry facilities, a porch with rocking chairs.


For those seeking a more secluded experience, the Private Villas provide the perfect respite. These one to three-bedroom villas, designed with the discerning traveler in mind, feature spacious living areas, fully equipped kitchens, ensuite bathrooms, and serene views, making them an ideal choice for longer stays or those who cherish privacy.

True Dining elevates the resort dining experience with a menu that marries nutrition with culinary excellence. Under the guidance of skilled chefs, each dish is prepared with the freshest ingredients, focusing on flavors that delight the palate while supporting health and wellness goals. Guests can enjoy a diverse selection of meals that cater to various dietary needs, ensuring a satisfying dining experience that nourishes the body and ignites the senses. Calories per meal range from 1,200 to 1,600 with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free and dairy-free options available. In addition, there is a snack station that is open all day that offers healthy “fit bites,” such as celery and peanut butter, hard boiled eggs, fresh veggies and fruit, nuts. etc. — in portion-controlled sizes.

Classes and Workshops: Energizing Body and Mind

Fitness is a cornerstone of the Hilton Head Health experience, with a wide array of classes designed to meet every fitness level and interest. From energizing cardio workouts to calming yoga sessions, the resort’s fitness programs are tailored to inspire and challenge guests. The experienced instructors are passionate about helping individuals achieve their health and fitness goals, offering guidance and support every step of the way. The state-of-the-art fitness center, equipped with the latest in exercise technology, ensures that guests have all they need to pursue their wellness objectives. Guests can take multiple fitness classes per day that are included in the fee, such as aqua fitness, meditation, TRX, aerobics, circuit training, and guided walks. Free bikes are also available for use, and the beach is a short ride away. For an additional fee, guests can sign up for pickleball lessons, kayaking, electric bike tours and more. The resort also offers cooking lessons and demonstrations.

Another core component of the program are the educational presentations designed to get you — and keep you — on track to meet your health and wellness goals. Guests are encouraged to sit in on an many of these classes as possible. Topics include things like Habits of Successful Weight Managers, Mindful Eating, Stress Management for Optimal Health, Portion Control, and more.

Beyond its exceptional amenities, Hilton Head Health is renowned for its Wellness Retreats and weight loss programs. It’s newest program is the ReNew Retreat with a focus on prioritizing selfcare. Other programs offered are Living Well, Healthy Getaway, and Active Lifestyle Golf Retreat.

The Weight Loss Programs, on the other hand, offer a more focused approach, combining medical expertise, personalized coaching, and supportive community to help guests achieve sustainable results. These programs include JumpStart, Lose Well, and Extended Stay.

After leaving the resort, guests can continue to receive support through the Hilton Head Health at Home membership. Resources include private or group coaching, chat groups, live-streamed workouts, the H3 @Home app, and free recipes and workout routines available through their website.
